At the Family Ecolodge, our aim is to offer you a relaxing stay. Thanks to our sauna, you can relax for free during your holidays. So don’t hesitate to come and discover this Scandinavian practice. For a smoother moment, you may also try the chromotherapy. So don’t hesitate to (re)discover our sauna, the famous pratice set as an institution in Finland. There are, in our team, real fans, so if you have any question, please come and ask us.
No need to reserve, our sauna is available 24 hours a day. Just turn it on when you want to enjoy it.
Certain medical conditions require that you stay away from the sauna, such as heart failure, acute infections or malignant tumors. Pregnant women are also advised not to use the sauna. For the others, the sauna does not pose any problem.
Yes, the use of a swimsuit and a towel are required.
To take advantage of it, you need to count about 1h30, and 3 passages in the sauna. At Family Ecolodge, we take our time during our vacations. Before entering the sauna, you take a shower at room temperature and soap up. This is followed by a 10 to 15 minute session in the cabin, whose temperature is about 70°. When you leave, take the coldest shower possible (in winter you can also go outside without getting dressed). Then you rest, read a book, play chess … for about 15 minutes before repeating the passage in the sauna.
Children can also enjoy it. You just have to be careful that they don’t burn themselves on the sauna stove.
